A beautiful condition, original 1968 Morris Mk2 Mini saloon.
This is a very rare find being such a low mileage and virtually unaltered from new.
The bodywork is almost rust free and appears to have had no repairs or replacement panels at all during its relaxed 40 year life.
Everything works as expected - it has a lovely smooth 998cc engine with a faultless 4 speed auto gearbox, drum brakes all round and comfortable hydrolastic suspension.
The interior is in very nice undamaged order, part of the carpet has been replaced with new reproduced items. 
The seats would benefit from a light clean but are otherwise perfect.

Externally, the paint is generally very good for the age and shines in the sun, though around the gutter it has been touched up lightly and the roof would be improved with 
a repaint due to a slight hint of surface rust where it may have been previously repainted.
Just 3 others have owned this little gem from new. It comes with annual MOT certificates from 1987-2005 which prove the  amazingly low mileage, 
several with just a few miles extra on over the year, probably just the drive to and from the MOT station! Several old bills, original handbooks and the old green log book are also present.
This would be a wonderful Mini to keep in your garage and use for nice weekends or to potter to shows, a true classic Mini with so much character.
If you like to use your classics for more general driving, I can offer a couple of upgrades to bring the performance more towards the 21st century.
  1. A 1275cc used engine and manual gearbox swap, fitted with an RC40 twin box exhaust system, LCB manifold,
    1 3/4" HIF SU carburettor on alloy inlet manifold and the addition of clutch pedal -- £750.
  2. Used Cooper S disc brake assembly,  fitted with new brake hoses and matching offset spaced rear drums -- £525 (recommended if upgrading to above engine)
  3. New Minilite style 4.5x10" alloy wheels and new tyres -- £380 (only fit if upgrading to above brakes)
  4. Left hand drive conversion (if you live in the USA or Europe and can't bear to life with RHD) -- £300
